Simply put: God loves you and wants you to know Him personally. But because we’ve chosen to live life our own way, sin prevents us from experiencing that:
Simply put: God loves you and wants you to know Him personally. But because we’ve chosen to live life our own way, sin prevents us from experiencing that:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Our sin separates us from God now and forever, leading to eternal separation from Him, in a place the Bible calls hell. But there is Good News:
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came to earth on a rescue mission to save humanity from our sin. He died in our place, the innocent One in the place of the guilty, to pay the price sin deserves and to give us life. "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." |
But on the third day, God raised Him back to life, "freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him". Jesus is alive today, and anyone who trusts in Him will be victorious over death.
The Bible says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life.”

Today is the day to ask Jesus to be Lord of your life and put your trust in Him as your Saviour. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL be saved”. Not “might be saved”. And you can call on Him right now, through saying this simple prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour. In Your Name. Amen. What stops you from saying “yes” to Jesus? |
